SMS program

How messaging works

How students — and the parents or guardians of minor students — join a golf pro's text program through Birdie Pro, and how to opt out anytime.

Birdie Pro lets an independent golf teaching professional ("your pro") handle lesson booking, confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups with you over text message. Messages are sent from your pro's number, by an AI assistant working on your pro's behalf. This page explains how you start receiving those texts and how to stop.

How you join

Birdie Pro's lesson line

Text LESSON to +1 (720) 605-1849 — or just ask about or book a golf lesson in your own words. By texting, you agree to receive replies about your lessons from Birdie Pro. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms: birdiepro.ai/terms · Privacy: birdiepro.ai/privacy

Texting the lesson line is how you join. A golf professional using Birdie Pro advertises their own lesson line the same way — on their booking page, business card, or announcement, always with the same disclosures.

The confirmation step (no messages until you say yes)

Before any lesson messaging begins, the first text you receive is a confirmation request — sent once — and it reads:

“Birdie Pro: Reply YES to receive lesson booking, reminder, and follow-up texts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms: birdiepro.ai/terms Privacy: birdiepro.ai/privacy”

(When the sender is a specific pro's line, the confirmation names that pro — e.g. “Birdie Pro for Coach Sam: …” — with the same disclosures.)

If you do not reply YES, you will not receive lesson messages. Your consent — the exact language you agreed to, when, on which channel, and how your number was added — is recorded. You are never signed up silently, and there is no charge from Birdie Pro to join.

If the student is under 18

Birdie Pro is built to talk with a consenting adult about a young student — not with the child.

  • Under 18: a parent or legal guardian is signed up and is the person who receives the lesson texts.
  • Under 13: only a parent or guardian is ever messaged, after verifiable parental consent. The platform does not text a child under 13 directly, and does not collect a child's own phone number.
  • Ages 13–17: messages go to the parent or guardian by default. A teen receives messages directly only if a parent or guardian has authorized it and the teen has consented on their own number.

What you'll receive

After you join, you may receive texts for:

  • lesson booking and scheduling;
  • lesson confirmations;
  • lesson reminders;
  • follow-ups after a lesson; and
  • customer-care messages.

You will not receive unrelated marketing from Birdie Pro.

Opting out and getting help

You're always in control

Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You'll get one confirmation and then no further messages. Reply HELP, or email hello@birdiepro.ai, for help. If you opted out and want back in, text your pro again or ask them to re-add you with your consent.

Frequency and rates

Message frequency varies based on your lessons, scheduling, and interactions with your pro. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
